Today was an excruciatingly painful day for my feet.
I hated my day at Tesco. I already told my mum and my aunt that it is inadvisable to shop at Tesco on a weekend. What with the number of people who made the stupid decision of bringing their family of 6 kids along and all that. You should have seen the scene outside the entrance. People were waiting for the trolley lift doors to open and when it DOES open........ you'd think they were at war with each other. What's with the sudden lack of trolleys?
I spent 4 hours at the damned hypermarket just guarding the two trolleys. It is common knowledge that standing still on the same spot for more than 30 minutes is probably much more tiring than walking, right? They didn't seem to realise that and I got a bit pissy towards the end of the day and I got told off, which made me retaliate and that scared the crap out of the boy who stood in front of me at the line.
I'm not a racist- and you know it. But I was extremely annoyed by a couple of Malay families from whichever kampung they hail from. Their kids took a sack of rice and was repeatedly whacking it at a price scanner, RIGHT OVER MY TROLLEY. The whole platform which the machine was stuck onto was swaying madly thanks to the force and what did the dad do?.... Said "jangan main", smiled, and then continued letting his kids whack it. A random shopper passed by and shook his head. After that, one family in a Kancil almost ran me down even though I was already halfway across the road when they were still a good 20 feet away. I showed them the finger. I'm sorry, man, but that's my welcome for you and your family to the city.
We are a long, long way from being a civilised country. And the irony was that the Merdeka songs were booming out of the speakers while the aforementioned scenes played out in front of my very eyes. It is very depressing to know that people like me, whose lives revolve mostly about Bangsar/PJ area and such have been fed the wrong information on how "advanced" Malaysians are now. It makes me think, how would privileges to a certain race benefit the country in general? They need to earn it, not just expect it... THEN we talk about being "Malaysian".
And Liverpool sucked. I expected a draw but to play as though we were going for a draw was pretty humiliating. A golden chance for us to challenge for top spot... and we totally flung it out the window. Who the fuck cares if we were not playing with Gerrard and Torres? We could still have done much better. Take the risk!
In conclusion, the price of shit has just gone up by 20 million bucks. Well done, new Keane, well done.

Colette: Horst has done time. Linguini: For what? Colette: We don't know. He changes the story every time you ask.
Horst: I defrauded a large corporation. Horst: I robbed the second-largest bank in France using only a ball-point pen. Horst: I created a hole in the ozone layer over Avignon. Horst: I killed a man... with this thumb.
Moral Studies starts at 9, but I woke up AT 9. Had the guts to go have my breakfast first cause I felt nauseous. Class ended in less than an hour after that. WTH.
Got back home and slept like a pig. Dad told me I might need to drop my sibs off and stuff so I cancelled plans with my aunt. No one woke me up so yeah... didn't need to pick anyone up or anything.
Wasted. Wasted.
I've still got about 6 hours to make this day worthwhile.
The stadium plans have been delayed again due to "global market conditions". I doubt that the Yanks will face as much fury as they did earlier but nonetheless, Rafa would be so happy.
We got Eindhoven and Marseille (god bless them) again.. and dum dum dum, Atletico Madrid. Weee! Tough but mucho fun otherwise.
It would be a Torres vs Aguero showdown. And hopefully, Luis Garcia will make a cameo! Will be seeing the likes of Bolo Zenden and Riise too. My money's on the Mancs and the Chel$ki to cruise through. Arsenal and Real Madrid's groups G and H would be extremely interesting to watch.
GROUP A Chelsea AS Roma Bordeaux CFR Cluj
GROUP B Inter Milan Werder Bremen Panathinaikos Anorthosis Famagusta
GROUP C Barcelona Sporting Lisbon Basel Shakhtar Donetsk
GROUP D Liverpool PSV Eindhoven Marseille Atletico Madrid
GROUP E Manchester United Villarreal Celtic Aalborg
GROUP F Lyon Bayern Munich Steaua Bucharest Fiorentina
GROUP G Arsenal FC Porto Fenerbahce Dynamo Kiev
GROUP H Real Madrid Juventus Zenit St Petersburg Bate Borisov
I don't think I've ever bullshitted that much in an exam paper before.
Malaysian Studies was well, not too bad nor was it good. Yikes. I believe that I accidentally improved history. Oops.
Alisya and I decided to go shop at Midvalley after class. On the way there, we saw a van carrying horses stopping by the road. I don't know what was going on but let's hope that no horsies were injured. That caused quite a commotion which obviously, led to a jam. We were chatting so much that I missed TWO turnings into Bangsar and headed straight towards PJ. Thus, we decided to go to The Curve lol.
She got me a dress for my birthday from Nichii. :) Yay!
Walked around a bit more, had some currypuffs and hotdogs before dropping her home. Surprise, surprise... it didn't rain on the way home! :D
My sister's playing some emo chinese song which repeats itself again and again. It's getting kinda annoying. That reminds me, I better start practising my piano soon.
We were THISCLOSE to not qualifying for the Champions League.
After 210 minutes of football, we got only ONE goal against some Belgian league champions which I have never heard of. Arsenal got SIX in 180 minutes! A goal every 20 minutes in the second leg! Then again, Steve McLaren's coaching FC Tweety. Ooops.
When your team's best player for the night is Kuyt.. and had sweet Little Sammy gnarling at the opposition coach, you know you're in trouble.
Imagine the loss of European nights. IMAGINE! *shoves thoughts into every player sans Kuyt's head* It's unthinkable.
Thank you Kuyt. Thank you thank you thank you! 100th appearance and an arse-saving goal. You ousted Hercules.
And dear commentator, you seriously need a life. CHIPS BUT NO FISH?
Done. I managed to translate the whole chapter into English. Yay! An hour more to the Liege game. Come on....
It was a pretty eventful morning.
Suki came over at 10 and we went for breakkie with Dao and Ad at the mamak. Went back to the school to get our PMR certificates and say some hellos and goodbyes to the teachers. Had lunch with Suki at Decanter after that. Love their pasta.
Got home to nap while Suki played with the iMac. Brought my sis along with us to Bangsar at 5. Got ourselves some McFlurrys (IN THE STORM!), tarpau-ed nasi kandar for her ballet teacher at Pelita before dropping Suki off at FAB.
Apparently my umbrella sliced her finger. Ooops.
Anyhoos I shall avoid seeing her till Sep 1. We're getting very sick of each other. Haha!
Stupid emo Bon Jovi song. "Open All Night" is so bloody simple yet so catchy. *mumbles grumbles*
This is going to be one looong post but if you're going overseas and have tons of application forms to sort out with the government, it could be interesting.
Came home after Sunday's dance class. Couldn't make it to the Yamaha concert after having lunch with Sze and Kobee thanks to the heavy downpour. Took a short nap and went to Suki's. Pn Koo came to bring us out for dinner at Sushi King (yes, who has the best geo teacher ever huh? We do!) Gossiped quite a lot, some old stuff, some new stuff and then she drove us around PJ to check out the new houses. Boleh tahan lah. I still hate the Roman capitals. Colonial all the way!
Flooded ourselves with YouTube vids when we got back and since my eyes were getting really tired, I stayed over.
ps: who came up with the oh-so-brilliant idea of bras with 4 different straps? idiot.
Got up at about 10am. Was supposed to go collect Suki's Certificate of Good Conduct thingy at Putrajaya but her cousin sister wasn't expecting me so I just ate my porridge and got ready to go home. But after a few EXTREMELY last minute change of plans among the older folks, I found myself on the way to Putrajaya. @_@
It's faaaaaar. And getting to the right precincts (a.k.a prinsinki in my malay) wasn't a problem. But finding the damned buildings were. I don't think I saw any road signs and most of the fugly yet massive buildings had the tiniest signs ever. Stopped to ask for directions a couple of times and no one knew nuts. And that includes two policemen. Seriously if the Ministry of Foreign affairs goes under threat, would they even be able to locate it? Gawd. One smart guy mentioned a GREEN building which we will never miss.
We passed by at least three green buildings. -__-'
FINALLY found the damned "green" building atop a hill after calling the office. Weird. Very foreign indeed. They allowed only visitors with a purpose to enter so Suki went in alone while her dad, cousin and I waited outside. I saw a colony of red ants shifting a dead roach off the counter but I shall not elaborate any further on that. Kun called me out for lunch, thinking that I was at cenfad. LOL.
Anyhoos, turns out they do not accept verification from a PRIVATE institution (taylor's, in this case) so we had to go back to Hartamas to get it. Bloody hell. So off we went. Greeted Pn Cheang and all. Kononnya got someone suspected of smoking weed. Damned kids. Returned to PJ after that cause Suki needs to get some oath done. *roll eyes* They are soo worried she might stab a syringe into someone's throat. Had lunch at some Taiwanese restaurant and its back to stupid Putrajaya again.
This time, she managed to get all the documents settled so we went home. 4pm. Yup, took us almost 5 hours to get a piece of paper which states that she is not attached to any criminal activities.
Got back to her house, sat for a little while. Our day wasn't done yet. We were supposed to go to Midvalley for some Origin products but we found out mood for the mall fading away as we sat......... but we went anyway.
Brought my car home and her mum brought us to the Gardens. Got the products, munched some Big Apple Donuts and FINALLY...
Started on a new piece of Ulliel lounging in a cafe, looking bored yet contemplative. My biggest painting, probably 30x40 inches?
Did an extremely rough guide. Still figuring out the colors cause the reference is in black and white. Hmm.
Managed to get to M Bar after months of procrastination. Took us a couple of u-turns to get there thanks to the bad signage. It was a bit awkward at first considering the fact that we were too early and knew no one. Ordered two cokes. Things got better by half-time though. Quite a fun place to watch football. The match itself wasn't too bad. I predicted a 2-0/1-1 score line.
Mido scored to give Boro the lead in the 70th minute.. and I was already generating positive thoughts to comfort myself. (Cheh.) Screw this match, give it to them and we'll win the next three at ease. But nope, it did go to 1-1 when Carra's shot deflected off Pogatetz in the 86th minute. Bloody hell. Gerrard then went on to strike in the friggin' 94th minute to grab us all three points. What a relief. I won't call it drama cause nothing beats the CL match against Arsenal last season.
Caught only four hours of sleep before going to Cheras to drop my brother off for some badminton tournament, mumbled and grumbled all the way back to PJ where I proceeded to start on my Flash assignment while the Moral Studies lect yapped on. I remember what he was talking about though I wasn't listening to the details. Euthanasia, suicide and abortion. I've already wikipedia-ed them long ago.
Went to cenfad after that since Rahman said something about going to Teh's house. I had no idea on what was supposed to happen there since he didn't manage to answer my question on whether the cremation's done or not. Turns out he was. :( And his family wasn't home and all. I think we'll go to the grave site instead.
Got kind of pissed with Rahman since I was extremely sleepy and I'd wasted an hour at cenfad, so I gave Afiq a call and asked for ride to Tawakal. He was nice enough to turn back so Ilee, Rahman, Afiq, Alisya and I went to visit Tarshaini.
Nope she didn't look like she was in pain. All sympathy was thrown out the window when I saw her goyang kaki in the chair. Cheh. Spent almost an hour joking around, chatting, catching up and stuff. It was nice. I miss my cenfad mates.
Gaspard and Judith Davis. Fierce eyes yet, so effortless.
First, I got a text from Tarshaini saying that she got admitted into Tawakal. I was about to say "congrats" till I remembered that Tawakal is actually a HOSPITAL. Good lord. That's what happens when all everyone talks about is what unis they've been accepted into. Apparently a the monorail tyre got busted and then the impact had a piece of metal pushed right up and she fractured her leg.
Then just 5 minutes ago, Rahman called me to say Mr Teh's dead. He died 2 days ago due to cancer.
The world's just lost a great artist and an amazing typographer. He was himself. I described him as the chinese man with a german attitude, but somehow, a little bit of a hippie. Usually he'd come into class all pink with a whiff of alcohol about him. Was never too good in teaching history of art but he was great in soooo many other things which I wish he'd taught me instead. Definitely a modern bohemian. May he rest in peace.
I would never forget his "Sarcofagus" and "Stomping the Backyard" moment. Never.
Stayed over at Suki's after Wednesday's outing at OU. I got a bit grumpy for the first 2 hours seeing that all everyone talked about was the UK and I had no idea when to butt in. 2 hours of silence and daydreaming does make one moody. Watched WALL.E which was actually quite disturbing but it's a good movie. Damn those Pixar people!
Spain 3-0 Denmark
Xabi, Xavi, Xabi.
No it was not a typo error. Xabi did score two and Xavi, one. Coulda used Alonso but it's more fun this way. Unfortch, I wasn't near any TVs that receives Astro (got show ar?) for the past 2 days so I just found out two minutes ago.
Had lunch at Decanter with Adrian and Dao to celebrate the latter's birthday. Tomorrow baru bagi present lah. Movie day anyway.
Me: "I heard you screamed at Nami, I don't think you're capable of screaming."
"...Nah I don't think so too."
Borrowed his camera since my folks took mine and the sibs to the zoo. Heh. I saw a tapir which looked dead when I browsed through the thumbnails. Sigh.
Went to pick Jei Wei up and strolled around Ikano. Haven't seen this girl in YEARS. We were extremely close back in F2 before she left for Penang. Sigh. But she's gotten prettier *uhum* and definitely smarter. Not that she wasn't back then but when you've got a scholarship to HK, you MUST be smart.
I saw a documentary about Botticelli's Primavera which made me realise that I still love my art history. My dad was snoring away after watching Mythbusters so I must be right. The details Botticelli'd put into the painting was, wow. The melancholy feel, the delicacy of the daisy petals, the gaze from Flora's eyes... man I want to know more!
One day, after I'm sick and tired of designing, perhaps I will pursue my dreams of life in revolving the history of arts.
Chong Wei lost in the finals damnit. But he got a silver in the end so all's well. Good job. You fed the Malaysian aunties something else to talk about. The politics was getting really boring.
I was late for dance class this morning and I got a surprise when Nad opened the door. I couldn't recognise her at first because her hair's really short. Apparently she shaved it off for an AIDS Awareness thing so you go girl! Other than that, Miss B thought I looked like a little white mouse inside an experimental maze with everyone towering over me. Eh. That was funny though! I did feel like one.
Had lunch with Sze and Kobee. Bloody charsiew was 80% fat. Sigh. But the chicken was okay. Was so tired when I got home so I slept like a pig. Bad habit. Kaki damn lenguh when I got up. Should have walked it off.
Postponed my art class to 2pm so I could go shop at OU with my mum and the aunt. She got her bag, I got mine (yes!!!), lunch at Esquire Kitchen and everyone's all satisfied and happy. Wee!
Yes I'm back to my usual bubbly self.
Had dinner with gramps at Chilli's BSC. I think I've had enough Chicken Fajitas Quesadillas for a long, long time. I always ordered that at Chilli's and it was no different just now since we wanted food that was sharing-friendly.
.. and the football season begins!
Sunderland 0-1 Liverpool
Man of the match goes to the Scousepaniards Alonso and Torres. Definitely. The first half was pure shite with Plessis not contributing much to the build-ups and the team's touches, passes and spacing were poor poor poor. It was even more embarassing when Keane and Torres gone for the same ball IN FRONT of goal and see it go bye bye. Hold hands, boys, HOLD HANDS. They can't tackle true love, remember?
Then Alonso came on in the 2nd half, managed to provide decent passes and the trademark attempt from his own half. Too bad it went wide but the key thing is, Gordon the goalie looked lost. That's always fun to watch. Nothing will beat his effort against the Greeks though. That one looked painful. He then went on to provide the oh so crucial pass for Nando in the 83rd minute and aaaah goal! One good chance. One great goal. Done. Pheew. Oh no wait, he HAD to run towards Gerrard. Yucks.
No one told me Moral Studies was cancelled today so I bodoh-bodoh went to college at 9 anyway. Vernon led me to the OTHER room where my Moral Studies lecturer was and guess what? He didn't know there was no class either and I was the only student present. He thought it was a waste of his time and wanted to go have his breakfast. Fine by me. I'm so used to being alone anyway. Went online and only Wen Yi was free enough to have a short chat with me.
Apparently most of the students were attending some talk by a representative of Wanganui School of Design, NZ. Feeling real bored, I gave in, left Ivan (sorry dude) and went in. It was depressing, really. The talk was good, sure, but it was depressing to know that ahhh... memang cannot go so sitting there was a torture. I'm already bracing myself of a future with no further studies.
OK OK OK quick change of topics before I start getting emotional again.
Congratulations to Lee Chong Wei for making it to the finals of the men singles badminton event. I still think the Lin Dan match was so fake. Riiight, like China would risk sending the other dude to play in the finals.
Went to Parkson after dinner. Was supposed to get my aunt a new bag but the store was closing and mum couldn't make up her mind on which bag to get her (even though I already took my pick). Got 2 pairs of shoes instead.
I was up the whole night. I slept at dawn. Unbelievable. Here's what happened.
1am-2am : Stayed in bed while surfing on the Macbook. 2am-3.15am: Started jumping around like a mad monkey while doing lifts and push-ups. 3.30am- 6am: Went downstairs and watched "The Greatest Show on Earth"
I don't care what the critics say. I prefer this over Singing in the Rain... but it was a bit long.
Woke up at 11 and set off for Alisya's at 12. Ran through our Malaysian Studies notes over hot banana pancakes and caesar salads at Decanter. We were all set.
..and then he postponed the paper. WTF WTF WTF WTF.
Wasted my time and money. Should have slept a bit more, should have eaten lunch at home, should have saved my fuel.
On the Standard Liege vs Liverpool match which ended goalless..
I don't know what was I more annoyed with. The same commentator who gave us 4 different pronunciation of Dirk Kuyt last time, or the fact that Liverpool got out-passed, out-jumped, out-tackled and just totally ran over by a team whom I have never heard of. They jumped like Luca Tonis and mostly tackled like Alonso (that is NOT a compliment) without a care in the world. The commentator had mistaken half the team for Arbeloa, christened the players some new names such as Pepe Renae, Sabee Alonso and I turned off the audio the moment he started explaining how one of the Standard player's name translates into "two thanks" IF his French serves him right. I think I might have missed some explanation on the origins of Belgian waffles during the 20 minutes of silence. Not bothered.
Moral Studies tomorrow. I have yet to learn anything good from that class.
Okay I was pissed. Sorry. It's already been 3 days and my room isn't clean yet. Too many mounting boards and scrolls of work which I cannot risk throwing before graduation. (something that my mum doesn't understand) It's impossible to MAINTAIN the room's cleanliness, the so-called mess just builds up! They are usually A1 in size for pete's sake, where can I store them?!
Am now lying in bed, with the air con turned on and the doors locked to calm myself down.
My car went for it's first service today! :D The brakes feel much tighter and well, I also took this opportunity to clean the car.
Would you friggin' wash a shirt that you found hidden inside a WOODEN wine chest next to a bunch of memorabilia, one that you have NEVER seen before, right after you insist to your employer that you would never dream of touching/washing/throwing anything out of her room without her permission?
I saw the Community Shield's penalty shootout. That was probably the lamest, flattest, unentertaining shoot-out, EVER. David James' new hairdo outshone everything.
OMG the new Bloch jazz sneakers are sooooooooo sleek. I WANT I WANT! 290 though. Will I get that much money for my birthday? Argh let's just forget about the jersey and the flash and hope that I'll get myself a pair. I saw a hole in the old one. Thought it was teruk till I saw Rachel's... wow, hers was in a much more severe condition. I'm loving the new dance by the way but as usual, I need to practise the funny turns day in day out.
So anyhoos, I've linked Jolyn a.k.a Lillien's wifey hahaha. She's a really really cool girl I met at the party. I stole this pic from her blog. :P Pinjam kejap k, need visual assistance to make an introduction much better. LOL.
Painting my nails for the 5th time because they keep getting smudged or bubbly. That's why people get manicures. Damn you Alex Curran.
Rushed to the wedding after art class. My first Malay wedding k? Dad was right. I was going to call him after 30 minutes cause it'll be one brief and boring visit. IT WAS. Darn. I only got to see my bug for a while, snap 2 pics, down some bloody hot curry and answer a few "dah makan belum?"s before parting ways. But we're besties, it will not be a problem :) Her kebaya looked great but it was definitely not the ideal wear in the Malaysian heat.
The couple were really fine in their garments and hehe, I finally got a peek at Deeb's house after what? 5 years of friendship? We actually live along the same road.... but we live 20 minutes away from each other. Does it make sense? Hell yeah. Jalan Damansara is one long road I tell you. Anyhoos, here's one pic of us which does not highlight the weight we've gained due to stress.
After a powernap, I went to d'Haven for Lillien's 19th Birthday Bash. She looked gorgeous in her red dress and the food was good. Unfortunately the party gods weren't shining on us when the speakers broke. But we were there for her, not to enslave ourselves to the stupid box. I made a couple of friends there and it was all good. Thanks babe for throwing the party!
Edit: R.I.P Bernie Mac. (yes, he died of complications due to pneumonia)
Ahh, the Olympics opening ceremony. Always interesting, no?
To be honest I didn't really dig China's but I have to applaud them for their efforts anyway. There was too much of everything and too little of the same thing, if you get what I mean. They really made full use of their plentiful supply of human resources huh? I was, though, impressed by the whole concept of having the scroll painted on by the athlete's footsteps and the process the torch was lit. My gramps couldn't understand nuts on what was going on (and that said, he's from China) and neither did I most of the time.
Nice dresses though. Keep them for your upcoming weddings, girls!
Guess what? I managed to finish watching the teams march in. Conclusions? Aussie was an over-enthusiastic mess, Russia/USA had the best team outfit with men's best to Poland and women's best to Kazakhstan. Oh and Luxembourg had the hottest flag bearer ;) Raphaël Stacchiotti.
Was supposed to go out for breakkie with Adrian and WK again but they couldn't make up their minds on where to eat and I was a tad bit moody in the morn.
I think my mum gave me a rotten banana cause my tummy's aching like shit. No joke. I saw where the single banana came from and its fellow friends were all dark and sticky.
Spent a little time fooling around with Photoshop and came up with this. I don't know why Blogger inverted the original colours from red to blue. I think MayYie's going to use it for her blog.
“I’ll play for Manchester United with my heart and soul. I will fight and honour that shirt with all the commitment and dedication I’ve always had." - Gayron.
Awww...Anyone feeling any sort of sincerity from this quote? (what a load of bullshit) After a couple of boos and goals, the manscums will return to their old metrogod worshipping days. Losers.
By the way, I stumbled on one site which came up with this really absurd idea "If Liverpool and Manchester United fans had to say one nice thing to each other in SIX WORDS what would they say?"
It really brings out the stupidity of the human brains (SOME manscums in particular)
Steeley says: "three times without killing any one" probably referring to the fact that Liverpool has gone through 2 stadium disasters, resulting in 135 deaths before their 5th european cup. an extremely tactless and insulting statement from the scum seeing that he/she'd forgotten that 23 died during their flight to a match back in 1958. Busby Babes. Munich Disaster. RING ANY BELLS?
But no wait, this is even more absurd.
26JPF says: You've never even won the Premiership? our 16-year drought had probably got them thinking that their 16 league titles is bigger than our 18. Seriously.
Banners, checked. Jerseys, checked. Variations of chants. Checked.
Watch and learn, Chelsea fans. WATCH and LEARN. This isn't the Anfield Kop, this is Norway!
Football's back. YAAAY.
So Suki came over and we baked 2 jars of chocolate chip cookies. I'm still baffled by the way Suki cracked the egg into the mixing bowl. Not only did the egg not fall out of its shell, she managed to chip the shell and also, leave a layer of membrane exposed, the egg clearly bobbling inside it. WOW.
Do you know that there's one application which enables you to chat with robots on MSN? I didn't! Suki and I only found out about it when my sister asked us to help her a game of hangman (with the robot of course.) They made her guess all sorts of famous names like Albert Einstein, Jerry Lee Lewis, James van der Beek to titles like "I Dream of Jeannie". Yeah we were like, what?
Goals from Alonso, Torres, Benny Onion and Ngog provided the win.
Keane has a lot to do. Poor guy. I just thought he timed his runs a bit badly, which resulted in passes that would mostly NOT go his way since he's totally stranded in the middle of nowhere. It's been 2 matches and 8 goals. Torres, Alonso, Benayoun and Ngog has each grabbed braces. COME ON, MAN!
Oh wait, that means the same set of players who scored, SCORED AGAIN. Oh wow, that's VERY rare.
Should buy a lottery ticket.
That aside the youngsters had a very good run in the game itself. Must be the reward for last year's success. Pacheco ousted Nemeth. Nenene bu bu. :P
Went to Suki's AGAIN since I'm free today. Felt like having ice cream so off to IKEA we went. We spent most of our time at the shelving area. It's scary how some of those "push and eject" doors can come close enough to hit you in the face.
Digital Classes tomorrow. Am supposed to do some sketches for an e-Card based on the Mooncake Festival.
I went to see one of the tukang urut after this morning's dance class. Yes I hear some ".. and about time too!"s.
Bloody hell as SukLeng would have predicted, I screamed like shit but the relief it provided was heaven. :P
Can't wait for the new shoes. Dad asked whether do I want the jersey or the shoes more badly? I picked the shoes. I think the shoes expanded cause I wasn't that bothered by it last time. Sliding back and forth inside my shoe to feel the floor before I turn has never been this annoying. Not that I can't dance in it, but I feel.. slower.
Draws for the third qualifying round for next season's Champions League is out. Here are the matches to watch out for.

I spent yesterday morning in Hartamas for breakkie and lunch with Adrian and WK before rushing off to Malaysian Studies. Was probably an hour late but I doubt I missed much since I've already covered the whole State-Federal State topic back then.
Moral Studies this morning was a pain. A pure waste of time. I think an hour of Randy Pausch's Last Lecture would benefit us more than that 24 hours worth of theoretical shit the gov's made us do. Does anyone pay attention? NOPE. Every time he states out a question, the class just falls silent. He asks again. It's just as silent, but this time, heads turned my way. I am starting to doubt the efficiency of the English classes they took back in Foundation. That would probably be the difference between English and Literature classes. I remember how Ami would make my cenfad classmates fight for their own opinions about anything from the African myths on the creation of the world to Chekov and the farce called "grading". There was never a lack of banters. Everyone was very vocal back then.
Thank goodness my classmates were here this week cause I finally had the chance to leave my group with the task of presenting the solutions. The group members were either holding the pen, pretending to think in silence, or waiting for an answer. I mean, heck, CONTRIBUTE. One did but aaaargh, STILL. I left after doing my part, return 2 minutes later and I get a "Huh? What solutions?" I really felt like ripping my hair off but I practiced tolerance. Gave them some answers and they did the presentation, though a bit more clarification and argument would have been nice.
Anyways,
My bottle of eyewash has arrived!!
I was already considering wearing shades no matter where I go when I step out of the college building. Goodness the air was like.. *chokes&tears*. The dust from the construction sites, the exhaust fumes, the greasy smoke from the mamak stall. It's a miracle I didn't fall while walking with my eyes closed.
Call me paranoid but I have gained more pimples than I ever had back in cenfad. And my eyes sting. They really, REALLY sting. Guess I'm starting to opt for the bloodsuckers back in cenfad than PJ's polluted air.
ps: if you feel threatened by Gaspard's gay smile, please embrace the fact that you are extremely straight and there's nothing to worry about so shush ar sim! :P hehe
