Ahh, the Olympics opening ceremony. Always interesting, no?
To be honest I didn't really dig China's but I have to applaud them for their efforts anyway. There was too much of everything and too little of the same thing, if you get what I mean. They really made full use of their plentiful supply of human resources huh? I was, though, impressed by the whole concept of having the scroll painted on by the athlete's footsteps and the process the torch was lit. My gramps couldn't understand nuts on what was going on (and that said, he's from China) and neither did I most of the time.
Nice dresses though. Keep them for your upcoming weddings, girls!
Guess what? I managed to finish watching the teams march in. Conclusions? Aussie was an over-enthusiastic mess, Russia/USA had the best team outfit with men's best to Poland and women's best to Kazakhstan. Oh and Luxembourg had the hottest flag bearer ;) Raphaƫl Stacchiotti.
I always thought Luxembourg was a city damnit.
