So after breakkie with Ad and JW, I went to pick Ducky up and off to OU we went. Deebs is back for the raya holidays and Qing was back from Singapore so we decided to meet up and well..as usual, think about what to do when we get there. Watched a horror flick callled Ghost House.
The poster was well, bloody and scary, and it being a Thai movie- we would naturally assume that it's going to be REALLY horrific. I hate horror flicks but I was out-voted and decided to give myself a scare then. Unfortunately, the movie was pure shit. The first 5 minutes had scenes of a girl drowning but the next hour or so was filled with... well, cheesy Thai romance. There was NOT a single ghost in sight. I'm guessing they were trying to apply the sort of psycho thriller storylines which the Americans love using, but it turned out to be shallower than a puddle of water. The movie was based on an EXTREMELY simple storyline about incest which was then given tons of unnecessary twists which just led back to the same old crap.
Rating? 0.5/10
Went to buka puasa with Ducky's family lol. Ate the biggest roti tisu I've ever seen! LOOK!
Woke up with a slight diarrheoa this morning. Had no choice but to go to dance class with an empty stomach. Like, REALLY empty. Was running on 100 Plus for the two hours prior to lunch. I felt really light, really good, though a little less energetic.
Came home for lunch, swept and went back to sleep. It's embedded in my head that I should NOT be sleeping after dance class but somehow, I did. Refused to go out for dinner at the temple (zzz) so I stayed home. Mum called to tell me there's food on the table so I went downstairs to get it. But guess what? There's nothing there!
Apparently my sib ate it. THEY ATE MY FRIGGIN' DINNER!!
Took a 20 minutes break to calm down. One shalt not cook on an empty stomach when one is feeling grumpy, for one shalt be killed with a sway of the knife if not of sound mind.
Cheh. Made Ducky's trademark grilled cheese sandwich and refried yesterday's egg that they kept in the fridge. They told me to eat it. If I get tummy aches- you'd know why.
So I was heading towards my mum's car and I was just about to enter the front passenger seat when my brother tried to outmuscle me to the door. Apparently he doesn't want to sit behind but I-DON'T-CARE. First come, first serve, ladies first. All common sense to me.
"Nyahsing lei lah!" ,that's what he said. Okay fine. Sign of a loser. I'll brush that one off.
THEN..
"Go fuck la!" he screamed. (My mum, as usual, never takes notice of his profanities)
I blinked.
Taking a moment to TRY to make sense of that sentence, I said.. "I'm not the one with the dick."
And you know what's funny? I don't think he understood me OR he knew what to say because he mumbled and grumbled all the way home.
Fool.
Long fingernails, fugly bouffants, hours of camwhoring on a cellphone and low slung pants do not increase intellectual abilities I guess.
After much thought, I realised that I couldn't post just about EVERYTHING in the new blog. But please, please, please visit the site as often as possible yeah? Will love you for that. Actually, I might already love y'all but I'll love you MORE :D
..okay.
So I was out with Ducky and Woon Jie. The last time the three of us went out, we played pool (where I managed to injure myself) and catch The Bank Job. This time, we bowled, watched ANOTHER Jason Statham movie AND played pool (with no injuries this time) again.
Dayum that body of Jason Statham's.
I was at the Adidas store when my dad called me to ask where on earth did I go. Then he told me to buy the jersey with the card.. got so excited and all.. but guess what... THERE WEREN'T ANY JUNIOR SIZES!!!!!!!!!
Geram betul.
Went to buy myself a 25 bucks brush instead. Hmph.
It was like playing Manchester City, but full glory and no backlash for Stoke. 11 men behind the ball and hardly a shot on target from that team.. gebus. I'm not surprised if Rafa refused to shake any hands.
With another referee to join the likes of Rob Styles - who deserves to be hung by the balls, I'm glad we got away with a point. This is not a bad result, just not the ideal one. I would even take a Chelsea win tomorrow.
Robert David Keane is still a disappointment. Torres isn't any better off either. C'mon boys. Hold hands!
PS: On a brighter note, I BAKED THE DAMNED COOKIES! YES I DID! WOOOHOOOO!

Well that was easy. Went a goal behind before Gerrard scored a beauty and a penalty to wrap it up. After that, it was- surprisngly, an easy job of soaking in the pressure. Great saves displayed by the keepers from both teams and gebus, Torres looks a little blunt but I guess that's because he's still recuperating?
Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, is on top after beating Eindhoven 3-0.
And it's only a little larger than A4 in size! It's supposed to be Danny Agger but it refused to look like him. That's the risk of using impressionism. I swear though, if you walk around the canvas and tilt here and there, you'd see Agger in there! :D
Yesterday's mooncake festival wasn't very exciting cause once again, it rained.
Just sat inside gramp's house most of the time and walked out once in a while to snap pics. They were using the IKEA candles to avoid wax leftovers so I didn't get the chance to light any candles. Screw those replacement candles.
Tomorrow, I will have to make sure my glass doors are squeaky clean and every inch of my floor dust-free. My maid hasn't cleaned my room for 2 weeks and I'm too lazy to tell my mum just yet. Oh and she's leaving for a whole month so I might as well make full use of her now. It's going to be a month of high tension in the house.
Since my car isn't home and I've got nowhere to go.. I re-cleaned my room. My assignments take up too much space for my liking -___-' and I don't have the guts to recycle them just incase I need them later on.
All I knew was that I was invited by JunJie to go swimming. That's it. Done. But there's lunch too. Oh wow. Turns out it's actually JunJie's farewell. Ahaha. So at 10.30am, I was on the way to WK's house when I saw Chee Chung walking towards it. Decided to ditch Wk and met up with Ad, Dao, JW at the mamak.
Then Billie, Christopher, Karim, Pau and Azreel came and since there's so many of us.. we needed 3 cars to ferry us all to Sierramas. Billie, Az and I did the driving lah. I really felt JunJie's pain of getting to pretty much any of our usual hangouts. That place is so goddamned far.
Played waterpolo and swam a bit. I make a better goalie. I can't attack for nuts. I scored only 2 and that's because they gave way. Haha. Since we arrived late and it was already past 12pm.. it got so sunny I'm suffering from sunburn. Saw the skin peeling off Ad and Dao's backs. Eurgh. Bleargh. Couldn't make it to Sheng's because the timing was way off due to some delays when one of us got lost and it didn't feel right to leave so early. Oh yeah lunch was AWESOME. They made the type of food that you see very often in cookbooks... but you never cook?
This is how we looked after swimming. Too tired.
Dropped Ad and Chee Chung back at about 5.30pm before rushing home to change. Followed Chris to Breakers, Hartamas for the MYRAWK live viewing party for Liverpool vs Man Utd.
Now, that was what I would call fun.
The atmosphere was great, the people were fun, the match was exciting, Liverpool songs were sang all around, the result was perfect and I got a surprise birthday cake ahahah. It was so unexpected! Even Ad was surprised. Having a whole room of TGIF diners singing happy birthday to you is embarassing, but having a roomful of Liverpool fans singing it is pure FUN! Even if you're standing on a very very wobbly chair :) Thank you Chris and May!!
2-1! HAHAHA! And that without Gerrard for most of the match and no Torres at all. WOW.
Okay I need to sleep. Been nodding off since lunch.
Just finished the Moral Studies paper. Mothereffing paper. I read the WHOLE text book yesterday night but remembered nuts thanks to it's exquisitely bombastic English and there was not a single bolded keyword in sight. I recalled 2 types of euthanasia (voluntary, involuntary) but they requested for three. Manalah dapat.
Woke up at 6am today. Holy cow. I have never woken up THAT early ever since Form5. I have, however, stayed up till 8am but it's a whole diff story. I kinda enjoyed the drive back from Suki's where darkness turns to light. *hums Gollum song*
No tears. Awww. Never mind Suki, remember Drew from Elizabethtown lol. Anyways thank goodness for modern technology that keeps everyone in contact. SKYPE! Mwahaha.
I am so glad that I've finished my Flash assignments, posters and character sketch-ups just on time to be handed in. Relief. Pure relief. Never rushed so much for an assignment since Foo's classes. Man I miss Foo.
But speaking of rush I don't think I was rushing that much seeing that the rest of the class were trying to finish multiple subjects' worth of assignments... and I only had two to hand in. Heh. Felt really bad for them but I've already completed my Sem4 at cenfad so pheeeew.
Besok I'll be going to Suki's. Staying the night at her house before waving her off to UK. I won't be going to KLIA since the country's fickle minded education system required me to take on some mothereffing subject's final paper called Moral Studies- which teaches me about things that
1. are pretty damn useless 2. i won't bother remembering 3. 99% of the world survived without 4. i already read before since i was born
I spit on Moral Studies. Ptooi.
Anyways nothing much happened today. Went to Hartamas for breakkie with Ad and Wk. Then I visited Ad's chilli plant, looked at the three tortoises and his photo album from the trip to Austria (..bugger). Spent the WHOLE afternoon watching Ben Hur.
Just like any other classic movies.. it is looooong. Complete with the whole extremely long winded credits introduction and intermission period- a.k.a pee time. Nevertheless, it was awesome. Charlton Heston is a legend, I tell you... so is his roaaaar. Oh btw, I think Judah and Messala are gay.
I just realised Mooncake festival is only a couple of days away. Wow. Time flies. "Yue liang yuaaan.."
Slaven Bilic is for now.. a real joker in my eyes. It was extremely cool to see him mess up the England camp. Pressure is so high you hear the English players blaming their poor performances on lack of pasta. They are delusional. Now he's attacked Liverpool and Utd for keeping Gerrard and Hargreaves. I understand the Hargreaves one seeing that he's often injured before international duty only to recover on time for the next EPL match. But poor poor "my-versatility-killed-me-but-i-still-play-on-painkiller" Gerrard. Tsk tsk. Wtvur. Maybe that was Bilic's way of saying "show us what you've got."
Considering all the shit that's been happening in Newcastle and Liverpool... a little healthy drama is very nice.
PS: Note to Rick Parry. Since we have already been kicked out of the top four richest clubs in England, chances are that we are THISCLOSE to being kicked out of the top four clubs in the league by the end of the season.
If say, Gerrard and Torres won't make it for the Man Utd clash, what could it mean for Liverpool?
There are the three usual possibilities and each carries such different -big, nonetheless- impacts. To step up multiple gears and win it, to fight and play it tight for a draw, or to be our usual selves and lose in vain. Obviously if we win it, the victory will be celebrate in epic proportions, but a loss will probably give us THE wake up call we require every season. Oh well. Que sera sera.
Just completed the birthday party. Thanks to all who came/tried to come/did not come but dropped some greetings. :) It was a blast.
Alisya and Nabs arrived REAL early, just while I was still getting ready. Tiba-tiba, it RAINED. Those two girls rescued the food from the sulphur-filled droplets of water. Then came the cenfad clan- Bob, Sheng, Ming, Vicky, Jan and Sim. My brother's friends were making so much noise I had to physically threaten one of them to make them all shut up after food was served. HJ came next and the rest followed. Megan arrived with ChiYan, KinKiat with YeeTeng. Even Wilson and Juliet made it through till I blew the birthday cake lol. Thank you everyone!!!
We played with lanterns. OMG they actually brought lanterns!!! (creds to sim, kk and dao for the extras) Each took one, lighted them up and held them aloft while walking around Taman SA. It was drizzling but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits. We just walked while trying to keep the flames alive. Countless resuscitations had to be made thanks to the wind. My fish, especially. Not made to resist wind LOL. It was very very fun though... just enjoying the cool air and well... for some it was quite reminiscent of their childhood and others- totally new and bizarre.
Blew the cake and all. Mum baked the cake and it looks kinda cute.
Every year, I anticipate a movie or two. Last year my pick was Atonement, a movie which I waited, and waited so long for and it did not disappoint.
This time, I'm looking at a Gus Van Sant piece called "Milk" based on the openly gay politician, Harvey Milk. Actors include Sean Penn, James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Diego Luna and the only talented guy in HSM, Lucas Gabreel.
By the way, I was watching the Nanny earlier and I realised that Heath Ledger might have used a very thick Queens accent ala Fran Drescher for the role of the Joker.
I did my presentation on Discrimination just a mere hour ago but, I am still laughing at what happened this morning. It was so weird. English in this college is still a very big problem. You know there is something wrong when you can't pronounce the name of one very famous son of god. *cough* Two words, three syllables.
Note to self: slow down. avoid the bloody accent.
My birthday party's tomorrow. Let's hope it doesn't turn out disastrous. I have a niggling feeling that it might rain. Omg.
You have got to be kidding me. O_O Finally, an American man who can pull off a great English accent on TV! What's with Patricks and broadways anyway? They are soo... <3 OMGG.
...and taken. Duh.
Yay I'm done with the Powerpoint thing. Thanks a lot, Chris!!!
Saw the Nadal vs Fish match this afternoon. Marty Fish. Really reminds me of Nemo's dad. Nothing much to say about the match since it's quite obvious that the Spaniard would win it in the end.
Suki's mum brought us to MVM. Got a free express facial thing which involved shoving my face into this dark dark box where the lady's eyes would pop up from a slot at the other end. It shows EVERY single flaw on my face. Blackheads, marks, impurities, dehydration and what not. *gulps* Since Suki's already done it, she can't do it again so I went in on my own. Giler sensitive la my skin, the moment they cleansed it, my face turned red. Ooops. At the end they showed my face in this magnified mirror. EEEEEEK! My pores were 3 times its usual size and I can see all the tiny little zits and bleeeeeaaaaaaargh.
Haha, today I read an article about Villa insisting that he "will never do to Valencia what Robinho did to Real Madrid." Ouch. Who say guys can't start a bitch fight?
Now, I have to figure out HOW on earth does one make a Powerpoint presentation. I swear I've never used this darn programme in my <19 years of life on earth.
Today, I woke up at 12, chased a few monkeys halfway through lunch cause they were harassing the laundry.
Did nothing much but read the whole afternoon. Sat in the massage chair a couple of times then it was already dinner time.
Was supposed to do my Flash but as usual, I am procrastinating.
Suki got her laptop already! Which just made me realise that I should install Skype so we could videocall when she goes to UK. Skype is cool, yet creepy. I don't like seeing my own face in motion lol.
Not in a guy sense, that is. Damn that Tan Hong Mind and Umi Kazrina lol.
I am done with my Mooncake Festival e-card. I skipped a scene cause I was too lazy to do it. Will have to complete my Superhero one in the next 2 days. Damnit. Just before Saturday night's party.. which I am already panicking over. I hope it won't be too boring and that my new friends can get themselves acquainted to the older ones and vice versa. Tak nak awkward-awkward nanti.
I can't wait for Ducky to be back on the 21st. But firstly, I need to sort out Suki's sending-off. I have bloody Moral Studies that morning.. and finals too! Please oh please have things make way for Suki's farewell.
Today, we went to Midvalley to celebrate Loong's birthday. He's a Merdeka baby. You know, those bastards who get free tickets to places like Aquaria. Cheh. He's a year younger but two heads taller so I can't bully him anymore. And he lost his belly! Nooo. Alright whatever.
As usual, Suki and I were the early ones. Browsed through a couple of potential laptops and polo shirts before Vanessa came. Loong and CJ came next, while Dao, Adrian and WK met us at Carl's Jr. for lunch. There were a bunch mormon Americans sitting behind us. Vanessa figured that out after reading the cover of their books which, I only managed "THE BOOK OF.." Jun Jie then brought his oh-so-adorable brother along. Went to the arcade, which bored the shiz outta me so Suki and I decided to go get Dao and Loong two cookies each at Famous Amos for their birthdays.
Watched them played some foosball and snapped some pics using CJ's SLR. Nikon D40 too, easy peasy. Thus, I only got 3 pics on my camera today :(
JunCheng, Adrian, WK, Pau, Loong, JunJie and Dao at the table.
After they left, Suki and I went to the Fish Spa. Free vouchers yadi yada. Since it was our first time, we accidentally sat ourselves in the pool of the GINORMOUS fishes. That. was. VERY. scary. If you didn't know those fishes were going to bite you, you wouldn't have freaked but the moment my foot hovered over the water.... they attacked. It was so disgusting and NONE of us wanted to put our feet in it till some old man told us to try out the SMALLER fishes first.
Obviously, we ran towards the other pool. Those little motherlovers really tickled the crap out of us for the first 5 minutes. I couldn't even leave my foot in there for more than 3 seconds before pulling it out. I laughed, squealed and shrieked so loud, I bet I annoyed everyone. It got less ticklish after that and it was quite enjoyable to see the school of fishies hanging on to your foot. Bring a friend along, it's more fun that way. One big fish kept nibbling on the same spot and it hurt a bit till I shook it off. It's extremely ticklish when they nibble on the arch of your foot.
The results were quite apparent. My skin was smoother but guess what?........ I'd forgotten to bring my lotion so yeah. I started pruning up after a few minutes. Damn. Water's supposed to hydrate skin, not dehydrate! I got funky skin yo!
Go try it lol. Pics are with Suki so I'll update this next time round.
