Happy New Year everyone!
Please stay in good health and have lots of fun in 2009.
Looking back at 2008- I recall the last few dramatic months in cenfad, wrapped up with lots of fun with the seniors at the Icon Show. Finally going to M Bar for the first time with a friend (u know who u are and lots of thanks!), 3 months of total boredom before enrolling into PJCAD- which I am glad I opted for July cause then I knew Shasha. There is also John Arne Riise's own goal, the arrival of bloody Hicks and Gillett, the departure of Ronald Koeman. My gramp's recovery, me finally driving on my own (ha!), online shopping and much, much more.
Love y'all :) Have a great one.

How I spent or shall spend the last day of year 2008:
1. Slept late.
2. Browsed through more online blogs.
3. Finished "Special Relationships". Good book. No idea why it took me 5 attempts to reach the 2nd chapter.
4. Woke up at 2pm.
5. To find that it means 6 more hours still the dinner so I need to find something to do.
6. Dropped my brother off at Mrs Ang's, then went to pick up some coats in OUG
7. FOUND FOOD. After 3 hours of starving.
8. Will shower and get dressed.
9. Will go to the party.
10. Will eat, drink water and be merry.
11. Will watch em fireworks.
12. Will go back to sleep.

If I ever feel bored,
Request for a bed time story.
I swear that I am greater than Enid Blyton.

Nami oh lovely Nami.
This afternoon, Nami sent me a text saying that she finished her driving lesson and wanted food. Still recovering from my driving lesson nightmares, I felt her pain so I agreed to meet her. We opted for Bangsar Village instead of the mamak outside since it bloody rained. In typical fashion though, the sun was shining as bright as ever about 30 minutes after our lunch at Sakae Sushi!! That trip to BV had me busting 70 bucks on a dress (yes, slap me) too. :P
Oh and we learned something. Black dish= 9.90. And it doesn't necessarily taste good.
Had to withdraw some cash from CIMB after that so I called my dad to ask where's the Bangsar branch located. His reply? "The place where the guy got killed." In reference to the murder at Strudels of course. Uh-huh.
"Right Nami, I am going to the place where the guy got killed."
Dropped her home after that and waited for Carol and Sha to come over. Lazed around in my room for a while before Sha found out that she has transport home from M Bar, which led to Carol not having the need to drop her home, which also led to her having ample reason to not watch the match, which THEN led to her agreeing to hang out with her brother instead, WHICH then led to Sha and I going to M Bar on our own, which led to the situation where we found ourselves outside a closed bar, which led me to call Chris who told me that they shifted venue for the night, WHICH then led us to TTDI Plaza where we witnessed Shay Given at his best and Newcastle's defence at its worse.
Newcastle 1-5 Liverpool.
Another good performance from the team which did not consist of Keane OR Torres. There is now range in Lucas' passing which is obviously a big positive to the match. I am still trying to get over the fact that everyone seemed to be celebrating his assist more than Gerrard's goal. HOW COME ARBELOA DIDN'T GET ANY WOWWTFGOODJOBDUDE DURING THE ARSENAL MATCH!?
That said, I have to give the MOTM to Shay Given. With absolutely no cover from his defence, you can probably round up Newcastle's performance and say that it was Given vs Liverpool at most times. Awesome saves too!
Oh and Chelsea drew. 3 points clear, baby!

Liverpool 3-0 Bolton
Brilliant job.
Everyone from Reina to Keane did awesome today. Even Lucas fared pretty well. Today, Liverpool fans once again witnessed the Gerrard-Alonso pairing at its best. Beautiful passes all over the pitch which had Bolton going nuts. So anywaaaaaay,
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

LIKE OH MY EFFING GAWD
Gabriel Macht is the f*king lead actor in The Spirit?!
He was officially listed in my top 6 Cynster-hot list and I was just going to include him in my sketch series O_O
Gab-who?, you may ask? The actor from Because I Said So/ The Good Shepherd haha.

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
ps: yes this is my bimbo moment.Hehe. Today was not a very boring day after all.
I went out for a movie with Ducky, Elicia, Balqis (ok forgive my spelling dearies), Seth and Qing at One Utama earlier.
"Yes Man" was a pretty funny flick. I suggest that all of you who will be spending a lonely hol to go ahead and laugh all you want while watching it. But nothing beats that new trailer.. Seventeen-was it? Bloody hell there was Matthew Perry jumping off the bridge and blablabla... ZAP! A screaming Zac Efron in the showers!
It caught us off guard and many in the theatre were screaming along with him. I was screaming in DISGUST (like WTFEWWWWWWWWWWWW) while Balqis was screaming in affection O_O... and the young teenyboppers, of course.

Things couldn't have been more obvious. They didn't park the bus. They just..... dunno.

HEEEEY PEOPLE I AM BACK!
Cameron Highlands was QUITE boring since it was only a couple of months ago when the family last visited the land of veges. Oh and I was extremely distracted by whatever that was happening in the lower lands. Flash portfolio, presentations etc. Was feeling very shiteous thanks to them. But Sha kept me updated and there were a few dates postponed so you can say I survived. Holidays which weren't exactly holidays.
Am working on a new sketch. Not gonna reveal too much just yet.. only 2 knows so far.. and they are related so YES you know who you are. :P
See ya.

AAAAAARGH.
Friggin' bad day.
I planned to get my tellTarget thing sorted out this morning. And I DID. All the gallery items were linked... till the file disappeared though I swear I'd saved it many times already! Poof! there goes my morning's efforts.
Obviously, I was not in the mood for anything after that mishap. Felt really down and all but I still had to do the interview at a company in HP Towers for aSir's class. I don't think advertising is for me. Seriously. I can listen to K Yunus give one of his freaking straightforward speeches but not its Creative Director. He gave great answers but I rubbished parts of it. Well, actually, rubbish wouldn't be the right term cause if I had put myself into his 30 years worth of experienced shoes, he is 100% right- but my mind was set in a different frame. It's one of those advertising vs design issues. In his mind, they work together, only in a segregated manner.
Oh, and did I mention there was a question with HORRIBLE grammar which I couldn't read out? I have this way of reading where I can predict the next word coming. BUUUUT, this one sentence was sooo weird I had to repeat its first few words a couple of time before realising the fact that it IS broken. Malu gila. Haha. But I'll take part of the blame for trusting a piece of paper so much.
Here I am, sweating over this stupid Flash portfolio shits. Honestly, I really don't see the point of a fancy digital portfolio that PJCAD requires. Whatever happened to good ol' slideshows, books and stuff? A BIT more costly but less time-consuming.
Yes, I am ancient.

Hey everyone!
I am back from Melaka!
Just to enlighten some of you who might not know what brought me there in the first place- I took part in a line dance competition with a brand new team, Force5!
Sze, Rachel, Kit, Florence and I have been practising our butts off in the past month for this competition. Sze and Florence especially, who has provided so much input and ideas to the team. Everything from costumes to formations to the glittery currypuffs on our hair while Kit's mum drove her all the way from Klang for practises 3 to 4 times a week. Usually on weekday nights! There's so much dedication flowing through the team :)
Rachel, Sze and I met up at McD for breakfast before going to Miss B's- chief adjudicator for the night, who was going to drive us to Malacca. We arrived at the historic city at 2pm where we started marking out our spots at Pay Fong High School. There was a slight drama with our formation because we still weren't accustomed to the spacious hall and ran into a little hullaballoo over the contra-lines rule which the organisers decided to abolish since MOST of the teams did not comply to the ruling. But, we had Sze's awesome formations in hand, so contralines or not, we were sure we'd put on a good show anyway!
We got back to the Hallmark Hotel to get ourselves ready for the big night. Shower, costumes, hair, make up and the sort y'know? Getting a little bump on top of the hair was harder than I thought! Florence had to redo mine about 5 times before I ended up looking like a glittery version of a capalang Elvis! Rushed back to the hall as we were already half an hour behind time to find that in typical Malaysian fashion, everything was pushed back ANYWAY.
Aside from the fact that Sze had left the team tag back in the hotel and that Kit almost got ran over by a waiter carrying a large platter of food before ducking under his arm (god bless her height)- everything was smooth sailing before we got onto the floor. Being the third in line to perform is actually a blessing. There was no need to watch the first two on the floor, and after we were done with our performance, we can actually sit back and enjoy the food and the rest of the dances :P Oh, and there was general dancing too! LOL
I think we did pretty well. Our best dance yet! Personally, I felt that I made a little booboo at the start with the speed before I realised that the music seemed to be a tad bit slower than I thought. Adrenaline I guess. But kononnya I picked it up fast enough to cause any damage. Pheeew. Compared to the other teams that night, we weren't exactly at the top energy or costume-wise, but we definitely had awesome variations. 2 of the top teams had made full use of cuteness and sex appeal but I have to give them credits for the skills and energy levels. It was WOAH. Both of them definitely deserved to be in the top 3 teams but I couldn't digest the fact that one of them got first. Krumping and undies to Part Time Lover? Very wrong. I preferred those from Seremban- who got 2nd place :( They had beautiful techniques and synchronisation!
We came in as a VERY close 4th and I am really happy with the result! This team only came together very recently and we haven't been able to develop a desired level of synchronisation yet but we managed to pull off a great performance. YAY!

So after the event ended, we started to hunt for supper. I was EXTREMELY sleepy to be honest. I couldn't really digest anything during the event, nor could I even function the chopsticks with my trembling hands. Found a mamak shop nearby and guess what? There was football on the TV and most of you would know that nothing keeps me awake like a TV or my iMac! Alonso must have waited for me before scoring the goal before my very own eyes! What a hubby. Erk elleh. Was in no mood to watch the match though, still very jittery over the night's events. Ordered roti canai and teh ais. Yummmy. (PS: Thank you May, Sha and my dad for the updates lol)
We then headed back to the hotel. Since they provided only 2 single beds for the three of us and none of us would wanna risk falling through the gap, we decided to reposition everything. A complete overhaul which saw the mattresses yanked to the floor and both the bed frames upturned, raised and leaning against the wall. LMAO. I can so imagine the cleaner's face the next morning.

When Rachel got to the showers, she realised that the heater wasn't functioning so she took a cold shower. I followed suit since I thought the machine was malfunctioning as well. Sze, on the other hand, was DETERMINED to make it work so she jabbed the damned button multiple times till it came to life. AAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!
...and thus, I ended up with a flu the next morning.
...which I will post about tomorrow. MWAHAHA.
